This Tuesday on the 29th of October, 19:00 at Betahaus Barcelona David Chaum, the crypto’s father, will be presenting his quantum resistant cryptocurrency – “PRAXXIS“.
The Praxxis protocol uses quantum resistance signatures based on large random numbers while simultaneously overcoming the scalability, privacy and security challenges facing legacy blockchains. The result is a “purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash” as Satoshi Nakamoto announced in the first words of his Whitepaper.
David Chaum is widely recognized as the inventor of digital cash, David is currently leading the Elixxir project to provide scalable digital sovereignty.
He is also known for other fundamental innovations in cryptography, including privacy and secure voting systems. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. He also taught at the NYU Graduate School of Business and at the University of California, led a number of breakthrough projects as well as founded the International Association for Cryptologic Research, the cryptography group at the Center for Mathematics and Computer Science in Amsterdam, DigiCash, the Voting Systems Institute, and the Perspectiva Fund.
