Can you tell us a few things about yourself?
I grew up in Barcelona and I have lived here for most of my life. My family is from India and they moved here about 40 years ago. I lived in London for a few years and I went to university there to study Computer Science. After that I moved back here and studied Photonics, which is all about light, lasers and quantum things.
I’m currently working as a programmer, doing freelance work in game development.

What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on mobile game development. I recently released a game for the first time. It’s a little maths game to improve your mental arithmetic. It’s called Frazy Numbers and it’s available for iOS and Android!
When did you move to Barcelona?
I was born in Barcelona and I moved to London when I finished school. After a few years, I came back here to work at ICFO and I haven’t left the city ever since.

Don’t fall in love with your ideas.

What do you like to do outside of work and when you’re not at Betahaus?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to new bars, watching a good film, going to the beach, watching Barça – the typical stuff.

If you were 80 years old, what would you tell your kids?
I would tell them to keep an open mind and not judge others by their appearance, because anybody can teach us something new.

I love popcorn! I can’t go to the cinema without buying a tub of it.
When Spain won the world cup, I was so excited that I threw my t-shirt out of the window of my friend’s car. A few minutes later, I realised that I probably needed a t-shirt for the rest of the night so he stopped the car and I ran back to get it.
I play the piano and the drums.
When I was 8, I got cast in an indie film set here in Barcelona. I played the protagonist’s son.
I became a vegetarian about 4 years ago, when it hit me that there was a dead animal on my plate that had been through a lot just to satisfy my hunger.

What are your absolute MUST-HAVES in life?
My glasses. Without them I am as blind as a bat.
How does betahaus feel?
Betahaus feels like home away from home. It’s the perfect place to make friends and to meet new people to work with. Everyone is working hard and having so much fun at the same time, it’s great!
The picture of the Pillars of Creation shows clouds of gas and dust that are in the process of creating new stars. They are located about 7000 light years from us. Plot twist: they were destroyed 6000 years ago by a supernova but the explosion will only be visible from Earth in about 1000 years. We are just a small part of a vast and ever-changing universe!
